OCP
Each of our subcontractors (ir. carriers) that transports your goods must have a Carrier Liability Insurance (OCP) up to a sufficiently high amount to fully protect your interests. Before organizing the transport of your goods, our forwarder is obliged to check whether the carrier has such a policy and verify its validity and compliance with our safety standards.
We have additional forwarder's liability insurance covering damages resulting from improper performance of the forwarding contract. This is an additional safeguard to protect against all the hard-to-predict risks that a freight forwarder is exposed to while performing his complex operational and logistics work.
OCS
Cargo
We offer additional insurance for your goods guaranteeing payment of compensation in case of damage up to the full value of the sum insured indicated by you when drawing up the policy. The insurance coverage is up to you; it can cover not only the carriage itself but also loading/unloading activities or even damage due to force majeure.
The scope and flexibility of Cargo insurance is much greater than standard OCP (carrier's liability) or OCS (freight forwarder's liability), and is particularly useful when transporting valuable cargo.
